BLOGMAS – DAY 21 – December Favourites

Hey guys,

Welcome to the 21st day of my blogmas! Only 4 days left! Today’s post is going to be my favourite products from this month!

So let’s get started!

Body care

Sleepy, mask of magnamity, snow fair body conditioner from Lush and VeeBeautyLdn’s eyelash and eyebrow serum and two lip balms. I love using all of these, definitely would recommend for you guys to try it out!

The body scrub by what’s in it for me, smells edible and leaves your skin feeling incredible! (Haha rhymes)

Fragrance

So fragrance were kind enough to gift me with these beauties at the Blogosphere Christmas festival last weekend and they all smell so lovely! So affordable and pretty! You can purchase these from most boots stores and would make great stocking fillers!

Face mask

Im loving this face mask at the moment! You can check out my full review on L’Oréal’s pure clay masks here.

Makeup

This is a recent buy of mine from Urban Decay and it is the Heavy Metal palette. Don’t let this picture fool you, this palette is HUGE well.. in comparison to their other palettes. I swatched it in the shop and bought it then and there that’s how much I loved it! Will do some looks using it soon!

Hair care

I was also luckily enough to be gifted these at the Blogosphere Christmas festival too by Ogx! I LOVE their hair products! Been using their shampoo and conditioners for maybe 2 years now, my hair definitely thanks me for it!

Books

This is my favourite book of this month! I love it! Check out my review for it here.

Netflix

These are my two favourite series at the moment, not just for this month but they’re what I’m watching this month! If you haven’t seen either or any of them I definitely suggest that you should!!

BLOGMAS – DAY 9 – Favourite festive films

Hey guys,

Today’s Blogmas post is going to be my top 5 festive films. One of my favourite things about Christmas is getting cosy and watching Christmas movies.

Here are my top five:

1. Elf

For those who haven’t seen Elf you definitely should!

It’s about Buddy who was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa’s elves. Unable to shake the feeling that he doesn’t fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father. As it happens, this is Walter Hobbs a cynical businessman. After a DNA test proves this, Walter reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Buddy with increasingly chaotic results. Source

2. How the Grinch stole Christmas

This is a close second to the first

It is a live-action adaptation of the children’s tale by Dr. Seuss, the Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. Reluctantly joined by his hapless dog, Max, the Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos. However, the bitter grump finds a hitch in his plans when he encounters the endearing Cindy Lou Who. Source

3. The Polar Express

This is about a young boy who doubts Christmas takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe. Source

4. Love Actually

This movie you can watch all year round however I mostly associate it with Christmas.

It is Nine intertwined stories that examine the complexities of the one emotion that connects us all: love. Among the characters explored are David (Hugh Grant), the handsome newly elected British prime minister who falls for a young junior staffer (Martine McCutcheon), Sarah (Laura Linney), a graphic designer whose devotion to her mentally ill brother complicates her love life, and Harry (Alan Rickman), a married man tempted by his attractive new secretary. 5. Home Alone 2

This I think needs no explanation as I’m sure most people have seen at least one home alone movie. I love watching home alone 2 at Christmas time as it’s set in New York at Christmas which makes it even more magical!

It is about a young boy called Kevin McCallister loses track of his father at the airport, he mistakenly gets on a plane headed for New York City — while the rest of the McCallisters fly to Florida. Now alone in the Big Apple, Kevin cons his way into a room at the Plaza Hotel and begins his usual antics. But when Kevin discovers that the Sticky Bandits are on the loose, he struggles to stop them from robbing an elderly man’s toy store just before Christmas. Source

And that is it! Christmas doesn’t truly feel like Christmas until I’ve seen each of these movies! If you haven’t seen one of these I definitely recommend for you too!

Thank you for reading today’s post, I hope you’ve enjoyed it!
